Vuorikatu 3 renovation now complete

Focused on development of the University of Helsinki City Centre Campus, the renovation and alteration project was completed at the end of last year, right down to the final furnishings. LPR Architects was responsible for designing the facilities, while the client handled the design of furnishings.

Completed in 1920 and expanded in a 2007 renovation project, the building spaces were modernised and made into an adaptable office space for university staff.

The utilities of this historically important and protected building were updated to meet current requirements. Low-carbon and cost-effective solutions along with the reuse of materials and utilities were favoured in the design.
